- Travelling down the A14 towards Ipswich, turn off at Stowmarket A1120 and at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road turn right, go under the underpass, following the A1120 into Stowmarket.
- If travelling down the A14 in the opposite direction towards Bury, turn off at Stowmarket and at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road turn left following the A1120 into Stowmarket.
- Straight over the next roundabout continuing on the A1120 (it's the first exit, there is no left turn)
- As you approach the next roundabout/traffic lights, get into the right hand lane otherwise you'll end up heading to Needham Market. Turn right heading into Stowmarket on the A1308.
- Get into the right hand lane as you approach the next roundabout. Stay in the right hand lane as you go round the roundabout and take the third exit (Gipping Way - A1308) signposted "town centre."
- About half a mile down Gipping Way, opposite a factory, turn left into Hollingsworth Road. It's the first proper left turning that you come to.
- At the end of Hollingsworth Road turn right at the mini roundabout and then turn left almost immediately into Red Gables.
